AL ASAD AIR BASE, Iraq (Nov. 17, 2005) - Nigerian-born Cpl. Chijioke I. Okereke, a motor transport operator for Regimental Combat Team-2, left his native country to pursue college and eventually found the Marine Corps. Arriving in Iraq more than nine months ago, Okereke has been on numerous convoys and mission throughout the area supporting operations in the Global War on Terrorism.
