MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. (June 26, 2007)- Moments after the explosion inside a humvee, Marines observe how the system extinguished the flames within the vehicle and on dummy passengers. The vehicle uses two tanks filled with Artic Fire Freeze on each side of the humvee. The fire suppressant not only extinguishes the fire, it also lowers the temperature of a surface back to touchable conditions.
