Ar Ramadi, Iraq (August 1, 2007) - Those who gathered paid their respects to the memorial display. The helmet represents the fallen service member in combat. The inverted rifle with bayonet represents a time for prayer and a break in the action to pay tribute to their comrade and to take care for the wounded. The boots represent the final march of the last battle.
