Sgt. Maj. Andre Johnson, the outgoing sergeant major of 8th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, passes the noncommissioned officer?s sword to Col. John K. Love, the regimental commanding officer, during a post and relief ceremony here Dec 17. Sgt. Maj. Rudy Resto received the sword and the duties of regimental sergeant major. Johnson is retiring after 30 years of service.
