Chief Warrant Officer 2 Scott J. Roberts of Farmington Minn., straps into the cockpit of a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter at the Camp Korean Village airfield in western Iraq in preparation for a training mission with the Marines of 2nd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment Jan. 22. Roberts, a 17-year-veteran of the National Guard, is an instructor pilot with Company C., 2nd Battalion, 211th Aviation Regiment, based in St. Paul, Minn.
