Patrolmen with the Musa Qal’eh district Afghan Uniformed Police lead a local security patrol shortly after the establishment of their new security post. Once the patrolmen and Marines with Echo Company, 2nd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, cleared the western side of the southern Musa Qal’eh wadi, or dry riverbed, and established the new security posts, the patrolmen immediately wanted to begin patrolling the area, according to Capt. George J. Flynn III, a Woodbridge, Va., native and the commanding officer for Echo Company.
