Master Sgt. Angel Otero, a native of Avondale, Pa., teaches weapons safety to Afghan National Army soldiers, before taking aim at a live fire range in Musa Qal’eh, Afghanistan, Feb. 9. The firing range was a part of the 10-day ANA platoon training course. Otero, 34, is the operations chief for Weapons Company, 1st Battalion, 8th Marines, Regimental Combat Team 8.
