U.S. Marines with 1st Battalion, 2d Marine Regiment (1/2), 2d Marine Division, place a kevlar on each rifle during the final roll call as a part of the memorial service for the 20th anniversary of the battle of An-Nasiriyah on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, March 23, 2023. The Marines with 1/2 stand behind rifles, boots, and dog tags, which represent each Marine who lost their life during the battle.
