AR RAMADI, Iraq (April 9, 2005) -Corporal Nicholas J. Boire, a 22-year-old squad leader, with 2nd Squad, 2nd Platoon, Company C, 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, leads the way for his Marines during a patrol through a neighborhood here known as the "Ghetto." The Minnetonka, Minn., native and other Marines with 2nd Squad, 2nd Platoon, Company C, 1st Battalion, 5th Marines, patrolled the neighborhood and handed out candy to the children and positive and anti-insurgent propaganda pamphlets to Iraqi men.
