CAMP BLUE DIAMOND, RAMADI, Iraq - Corporal Jeffery R. Lyskawa a refrigeration repair technician with Communications Company, Headquarter Battalion, 2nd Marine Division stands among a long row of military air conditioners. Lyskawa maintains and repairs dozens of air conditioners and generators that keep the Division's Communications Company up and running. Lyskawa has taken on the role of a pseudo "Maytag Man" for Communications Company which provides the main conduit for all internet, phone and radio communications flowing into and out of Camp Blue Diamond which houses the 2nd Marine Division's Headquarters.
