AR RAMADI, Iraq (April 28, 2005) -Staff Sgt. David Menusa, platoon sergeant of 1st Platoon, Company B, 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, talks on his radio to other Marines in his platoon while on a patrol through the city here. The 32-year-old Tracey, Calif., native volunteered to deploy to Iraqi with the infantry battalion to support Operation Iraqi Freedom. But along with liberating the Iraqi people and helping rid the world of terrorism, Menusa's service here is motivated by his brother's death. Gunnery Sgt. Joseph Menusa was killed serving in Iraq in 2003 during OIF I. Menusa is honoring his late brother and comrade by continuing the service he died conducting. Photo by Cpl. Tom Sloan
