Colonel Adam Sacchetti is a Native of Walpole Massachusetts and was Commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant Following graduation
with honors from Norwich University with a degree in Criminal Justice. Following The Basic School and Infantry Officer Course he
was designated an Infantry Officer.
His FMF assignments include Rifle Platoon Commander, Weapons Platoon Commander and Company Fire Support Team Leader
1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, Rifle Company Commander 2nd Battalion, 8th Marines, Deputy Current Operations Officer and
Division Staff Secretary 2D Marine Division, Executive Officer 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines, Executive Officer 5th Marines,
Commanding Officer 1st Battalion, 3rd Marines, Current Operations Officer III MEF.
His Non-FMF assignments include Platoon Commander 2D Fleet Antiterrorism Security Team, Executive Officer 1st Fleet

He is a Distinguished Graduate of: Expeditionary Warfare School, The US Naval War College’s College of Naval Command and Staff,

Colonel Sacchetti’s personal awards include the Defense Superior Service Medal, the Bronze Star Medal with Combat
Distinguishing Device, the Purple Heart Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal,
the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal and the Combat Action Ribbon. He holds a Master of Science in National Security
Strategy with a concentration in War Studies from the National War College, a Master of Arts in Defense and Strategic Studies from
the United States Naval War College and a Master of Business Administration with concentrations in finance and international
management from Northeastern University in Boston.
