Maj. Logan A. Brewer

Major Logan Brewer is a native of Lakeland, Florida. He completed Officer Candidate School while enrolled at Warner University in 2009. Upon the completion of his undergraduate degree from Warner University in 2010, he was commissioned reported to The Basic School in 2011. Subsequently, he reported to 2d Assault Amphibian Battalion (2d AABn), Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, pending assignment to Assault Amphibian School (AAS), Camp Pendleton, California. Following graduation from AAS in March 2012, he began his assignment as 3rd Platoon Commander and Company Executive Officer, Company B, 2d AABn.

In July 2013, 1stLt Brewer was attached to Marine Forces Africa and deployed on a Dutch Naval Vessel in support of Africa Partnership Station – 13, where he served as the Ground Combat Element Operations Officer. Upon returning from deployment, he was assigned as the Battalion Assistant Operations Officer for 2d AABn. In August 2014, 1stLt Brewer was assigned to Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island. He assumed the duties of the Force Preservation Officer for the Depot and the Eastern Recruiting Region. In July 2015, he was assigned as the Follow Series Commander and Company Executive Officer for Company C, 1st Recruit Training Battalion. He finished his tour at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island as the Support Battalion Operations Officer from July 2016 to July 2017. In July 2017, Captain Brewer reported for duty as the Battalion Logistics Officer-In-Charge, 3d AABn, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California. In January 2018, he assumed command of Company B, 3d AABn and deployed in support of the Unit Deployment Program to Okinawa, Japan from May to November 2018. In July 2019, Captain Brewer reported to the Program Manager for Advanced Amphibious Assault and assumed the duties as the Lethality Integrated Product Team Lead. Major Brewer was then assigned to Command and Staff College, Marine Corps University in July 2022. Major Brewer completed Command and Staff College in June 2023 and subsequently reported to 2d AABn, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina to serve as the Battalion Executive Officer.

Major Brewer is a graduate of the Expeditionary Warfare School Distance Education Program and the Marine Corps Command and Staff College. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Warner University and a Master of Military Studies from Marine Corps University. His personal decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with two gold stars and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal. He is married to Major Heather Brewer of Honolulu, HI and they have a son, Tripp Gunnar Brewer, and a daughter, Cruz Keilani Brewer.
