Lieutenant Colonel Jordan D. Miller

Lieutenant Colonel Jordan D. Miller graduated The Basic School in May 2011, completed the Field Artillery Basic Officer Leader Course, and reported to 5th Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment in November 2011.  In August 2012, he deployed to Europe and Libya as the Rifle Platoon Commander for Security Cooperation Task Force, Africa Partnership Station 12. Upon returning from deployment, he served as the 2d Tank Battalion Fire Support Officer. Lieutenant Colonel Miller was then assigned to 1st Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment where he served as the S-4A and HQ Battery Executive Officer.

In July 2014, Lieutenant Colonel Miller attended Expeditionary Warfare School in Quantico, Virginia. Upon completion, he executed orders to 5th Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company (ANGLICO) in Okinawa, Japan. After serving as Firepower Controller and Fire Support Coordinator, he led the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) ANGLICO detachment. He served on the 31st MEU 17.2 patrol to Australia and 18.1 patrol to the Korean Theater of Operations.  Lieutenant Colonel Miller then executed orders back to 1st Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment.  In September of 2018, he took command of Battery C and deployed in support of Unit Deployment Program 18-2.  Following battery command, he served as the S-3A prior to executing orders to the Naval Post Graduate School (NPS).

Lieutenant Colonel Miller earned the Defense Systems Analysis master's degree from NPS. He completed his utilization tour as the Program Objective Memorandum Branch's Senior Program Analyst at Marine Corps Combat Development and Integration in 2024. Lieutenant Colonel Miller was then assigned to 2d Battalion, 10th Marines, serving as Operations Officer and Executive Officer.

Lieutenant Colonel Miller assumed command of Fire Support Battalion, 10th Marines on 1 October 2025 where he currently serves.
