A squad of soldiers from 1st Brigade, 3rd Battalion, 1st Iraqi Army Division patrol under the watchful eyes of Lance Cpl. Eric R. Steele, 21, from Elkin, N.C. Steele is the junior advisor for these soldiers of Company 2. He is part of the Military Transition Team, which originated from 3rd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment. As an advisor he lives, trains and patrols with the Iraqis.
