Mobley, an infantry team leader with 2nd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, is slated to hit the road March 24, and walk from Denver, Colo., to Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C., in time to welcome his son home from Afghanistan. The purpose of the trek is to raise military awareness and help raise money for foundations that support the military. Second Lieutenant Chad Grasmuck, 33, from Angels Camp, Calif., has been writing for most of his life, but while attending college through the Marine Enlisted Commissioning Education Program he says it helped him find relief and satisfaction.
