MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. - Gunnery Sgt. Francesco J. Schillaci, 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment's communications maintenance chief, says his final goodbyes to loved ones before boarding a bus headed for Cherry Point Air Station, N.C. Schillaci was one of approximately 50 Marines and sailors to leave here for Iraq as part of 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment's advance party to help pave the way for the arrival of the main body in March.
