FORT PICKETT, Va.-Seaman Oren Roberts, a hospital corpsman with 1st Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, writes a list of injuries while taking part in a land navigation course as part of his training here. Near the end of the course most of the sailors simulated injuries from an improvised explosive device. Only two of the corpsmen survived the IED unscathed. It forced the remaining sailors to call in the nine lines of information needed to evacuate their downed comrades. (Official U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. David A. Weikle) (RELEASED)
