Cpl. Mark C. Athey (above), a field artillery cannoneer with 3rd Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, conducts a misfire procedure on an M777A2 lightweight 155mm Howitzer cannon during a five-day battalion-sized training operation here, Feb. 2 - 6. The Marines said they were thrilled to be back doing artillery training and missions after recently returning from a seven-month deployment to Al Anbar Province, Iraq, where they served in various roles.
