An Iraqi Police officer stands security at Entry Control Point 1 with U.S. Coalition Forces as his commander, Col. Makhmud, Fallujah’s district Chief of Police, and Lt. Col. Eric C. Hastings, commanding officer of 1st Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, turn over control of the ECP to the Iraqis.
