Cpl. David Rohwer, Gun Two leader and Pflugerville, Texas, native, from 81mm Mortar Platoon, Weapons Company, 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, hikes to a new mortar position June 25. The platoon conducted a myriad of exercises designed to give the new forward observers to operate under heavy stress, while to make the mortarmen more proficient placing accurate indirect rounds down range.
