A Marine with II Marine Expeditionary Force describes and draws a practice target during a training exercise during a designated marksmanship course at the Division Combat Skills Center aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., March 9, 2015. Developing the Marines’ target identification skills aids the units in deployed environments when they need to identify unknown threats at long distances. Marines in the course must find seven out of 10 targets placed at various locations to pass observation lane training.
