U.S. Marines Corps Amphibious Combat Vehicles with 2d Assault Amphibian Battalion, 2d Marine Division, arrive on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Jan. 13, 2025. These eight-wheeled ACVs are the identified platform to replace Assault Amphibious Vehicles by balancing performance, protection and payload, making it well-suited for recertified ACV Marines to help support Expeditionary Advanced Base Operations in the Marine Corps’ future force design.
